Average Rating

Encyclopedia of Coca Cola Trays an Unaut (Schiffer Book for Collectors)Beautifully illustrated and extensively researched, this is the most complete guide ever published on this popular area of Coke tray collecting. Classic trays from 1897 through the 1960s are here, as well as recent trays from the 1970s through 1999, many never before published. In addition to over 370 trays from the United States, there are over 80 Canadian trays, over 60 Mexican trays, and over 60 trays from Italy, Germany, and several other countries. Also, over 45 trays feature the wonderful Haddon Sundblom Santa Claus ads, shown with additional photos of the original magazine ads. In all, 517 Coca-Cola trays are pictured, with 65 more identified and described. Each tray description provides the name; issue date; shape and size; origin of the tray image; manufacturer, distributor, and quantity produced where known; country of issue; dollar value, and more. The books unique price guide incorporates up-to-date expert pricing as well as final sale prices from over 5,000 Internet auctions of Coke trays. Destined to become the classic volume on Coke trays, this book is a must for all collectors of Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Great book by K. J. Dearth
I purchase this book to take to auctions and garage sales. It really helped me find some good deals on some trays. The pictures are very accurate and easy to find.

80\’s Commercials Vol. 4

80’s Commercials Vol. 4

by 80sCommercialVault (Category: Entertainment)

A bunch of commercials that aired on ABC and NBC primetime in October of 1986.1.
Swanson Great Starts Frozen Breakfast Sandwiches2.
Johnson & Johnson Shampoo (I love the look of indignation at 0:55)3.
Lysol Air Freshener (I feel sorry for the dog that’s scared out of frame!)4.
Children’s Panadol (Because I’m a children!)5.
Lysol Cleaner6.
Hot Pockets (Partial)7.
Promo for “The Brat Patrol” (With Sean Astin!) and “Easy Prey” (Looks pretty intense…yikes)8.
Commercial for PG&E (This is pretty neat and informative actually.
Reminds me of Main Street at Disneyland)9.
Lucky Supermarket10.
Pillsbury Bundt Pineapple Creme Cake (She sure loves that Cake…)11.
Pepsi (Reminds me of “Ghostbusters”)12.
Best Foods Light Mayonnaise (Eating a big glob of mayonnaise on bread…yuck!)13.
New Coke (with Max Headroom! This particular commercial looks like the inspiration for the Cafe 80’s in “Back To The Future Part II”)14.
Free Consumer Information Catalog (Hilarious!)15.
Message from Ann Kahn from the PTA about children and television (I spent my entire childhood watching TV and look how I turned out! Maybe she has a point)16.
PSA for the National Guard (One of the coolest commercials I’ve ever seen.
Go Teddy Roosevelt! Troops, Chaaaarge!!!)17.
PSA for Teen Pregnancy (Oh no, pixelated baby! I never saw that Game Over screen!)18.
Slice (Hilariously Awesome! With Ozzie Davis plus other real baseball players)19.
Michelob Light (Featuring “To Live and Die in L.A.” by Wang Chung.
Manages to summarize the excess of the 80’s in under a minute.
Also: looks like the theme song to some cop drama)
